I recently read a post on this site awhile back and dont have time to find it right now but he described having an attack plan for going through the MCQ Testlets with the ultimate goal of reaching the Sims. Thus allowing enough time in order to pass. I read this post recently but I had come to the same conclusion as he and it worked. My scores arent the greatest by all means but I did learn something the hard way that helped me after my first two tests.

For the first two exams I took, I spent way too much time in the testlets by trying to answer and wasted time on ‘reach’ questions I didnt really know; or in his paraphrased words “…Dont be the deer stuck in the headlights -not able to move on to the next question. For my Reg and Bus sections I only had about 45 min – 1 hour entering the sims and my scores reflect that. I changed my game plan and budgeted my time better by ensuring to allow at least 1 hour 45 min for Far ( forget what my Aud budget was).

As stated on my ‘Score Report’, my Testlet scoring is almost identical for all for 4 tests. I was mostly ‘Stronger’ and ‘Comparable’ on one or two for all the topic areas. My Sims were ‘Lower’ for Reg and Bus. This ilumininates my point:

Have a test strategy. I sincerely feel I should have scored 90’s on Reg and Bus (Not because of anything other than based on the time I spent studying and the scores I was receiving on my NINJA test bank). But for time restraints I placed on myself during the sims I believe I would have. My actual results were that I barely passed the Reg and Bus sections. ( I studyied alot for all 4 sections more than most people maybe and this is the easiest way I found to raise my scores)

In addition to numerous index cards i wrote with topics I was missing taped all over my house and inside my car ..haha
