Hi All,
So after failing AUD twice, I decided to take a 2 month break and start over fresh and it worked out as I passed AUD on my third attempt but since then, I’ve failed FAR twice and BEC. I’ve studied using multiple different methods of studying but in the end I’m not coming away with a Passing Score. Looking for any advice on what I could do differently that may help. Here’s how I usually prepare for each exam, btw I have Becker and Roger…… I usually Start with Becker lecture and watch Roger Lecture if the information isn’t sticking:
1. Watch the Lecture in full for a particular Chapter
2. Work all the MCQ while creating Flashcards for questions Missed or key Facts. Continue to work MCQ until all questions have been answer correctly.
3. Review Flashcards and move onto next section.
4. Generally once I hit the end of the 3rd Chapter, I’ll try to fit in progress tests of about 20 MCQ per night (Usually only manager to find time to do so 3 or 4 times a week).
5. Once I’ve gone through all the lectures and worked all the MCQ, I’ll begin reviewing. I usually have about a week for review.
I should also mention I listen to ninja lectures to and from work. I am just a little over 3 years removed from school so I do not have a lot of factors preventing me from studying other than a job (50+ hours/week) and a gf. I average around 30 hours of studying a week and have decided I should move it to 35 hours per week. Other than putting forth the additional time, does anyone have any suggestions on how I could change my studying strategy? I will taking my BEC retake on 10/01/15 and I’ll be losing this weekend due to having to travel to PITT this weekend for a family wedding (I will conveniently disappear in 20min intervals to study =])
All Advice is welcome, definitely struggling.
Thanks!
