Has anyone actually ever called NASBA/AICPA to find out your wave?

    Hi guys,

Has anyone actually ever called NASBA or the AICPA to find out which wave you were in, because you took it at the end of a wave? If so, which organization did you call, and were they able to tell you which wave you were in?

    Thanks!

I emailed NASBA for my first score release and was told this: “I am unclear as to your concern of when your BEC score was received due to your exam date being the more important date. It matters not when the score was received as opposed to when you actually took the exam. However, your score was received on Friday, 6/7. The end of the window is at the end of this month, therefore it was received before the end of the window.” 6/7 was the unofficial release date for that wave, so that must have been the date NASBA received the scores from AICPA.

So my conclusion is that if anyone can tell you, it's the AICPA, not NASBA. By the time I got that reply, I had already received my score, so didn't pursue it further…but I concluded that AICPA is the people who know what wave you're in.

@barelystayingsane: When I called the AICPA earlier this morning, they said that they would be releasing scores that were taken up to and including 8/14. So if the date of 8/13 in your signature is correct, you should be in this wave…the most frustrating and drawn out wave there ever was. 😛
