    Hi,

I’ve been looking at Foothill college to complete the 150 credit hour requirement for licensure in CA.

I checked the Foothill college website fee section and came to know there is a $160/unit charge for out-of-state tuition. Here’s the link: https://foothill.edu/reg/cashier/index.html

Just want some clarity on this. IF I take a Financial Accounting 1 Class that consists of 5 units, does that mean I will have to pay (5×160) for that class apart from the basic fee??

Anyone who has taken classes at foothill college as an out-of-state student might be of great help.

Thanks a lot for reading through and your valuable suggestions and answers.

The first 5 or 6 credits for out-of-state are $31/unit if you live in CA, can't remember exactly, you can go to their website to check. Then if you go over that limit, you need to pay out-of-state tuition and pay back the difference between $31 and out of state tuition in the first few credits. You can call them to verify, and you will see your fee after you register the class, some fees can request to waive as a online student.
