    Today the stress has really set in, and I am freaking out. I have 3 weeks to finish 1/2 of my Wiley REG to sit before the end of this window, and busy season is kicking in gear with 50 hour week minimum. So, I was wondering what everyone does to manage their stress level. I will probably partake in a little bourbon this evening. What about you?

    Fi5hy – please do not quote R Kelly. Still, that is a great exercise.

    Donica – they had recruiters running around getting people to disclose information. Said they would be getting stimulus money. Instead, they were filing fraudulent tax returns in the amount of $8M, and they were based in Dallas.

    Tonight, my liquor cabinet will be open.

    Hahaha, I apologize, just felt right at the time. I will refrain from quoting him in the future =P Maybe I should have gone with a little Ginuwine and his song Pony, that is always a good choice!

    Thanks G3! I have it on Monday. I'm nervous, but I feel more prepared than I have in the past. And I agree, there's nothing much more relaxing than chilling with a cup of green tea and honey πŸ™‚

    Welp, my fingernails are looking extremely “homeless chic”, I yell at everyone who annoys me or makes me mad, I drink a lot more wine than I used to (more into beer/whiskey), I check pinterest and online shop.

    That's about it for now.

    I haven't read any books except accounting books for over four years. I miss it! I have a huge reading chair in front of my fireplace and so far Baxter the Cat has gotten more use out of it then Baxter the CPA. As soon as I am done with this masters program…the cat better find a new place to sleep.

    I didn't handle the stress of the exams very well because I had so much going on at the time. What did help was getting enough sleep, trying to exercise and eat right. I like some of the above suggestions though… should've tried them. Ha!

    @BaxterCPA

    During studying, I didn't read nearly as much for pleasure as I usually do – maybe a chapter every week just to decompress (I'm a total bookworm so at least a book a week is more my pace)

    So glad to be able to do that again πŸ™‚
