When do you have to start making payments? My grace period ends 9/21/14 and I was wondering when my first payment will be due.

I think 6 months after graduating BUT I started making the payments during college because that interest builds : | damn capitalization too:

Capitalization is the addition of unpaid accrued interest to the principal balance of your loans. This means that your principal balance increases, so you will pay more in interest over the life of the loans.

I had loans through Great Lakes, but paid them off before they were due, so never had regular payments. 🙂
