The GMAT is harder for me. I think the CPA exam is a walk in the part compared to the GMAT. It could be that I simply just suck at standardized tests. And, the GMAT touches on my weak areas. I know how to do math and I know my grammar but I hate being tested on it in the way the GMAT test you.

I do very well on subjective tests but exams that just test you on random crap, I can't get with.

    AUD - 10/21/16 (75----07/2010 expired)
    FAR - 10/28/16
    BEC - 11/2016
    REG - 01/2017

    I was being facetious, btw.

The GMAT is weird because most people probably don't study very much for it (if I had to guess).

I didn't study for it, but still qualified for grad school to get my 150 hours.

My GPA sucked due to medical issues during my college career and according to a grad school I was interested in, I needed to score a 660 on the GMAT. I would have had to study for months to refresh my memory on crap I learned back in early high school/late middle school. Lucky for me, I took some of my extra accounting courses at the undergrad level but still have two to go.

My writing ability saved me … I scored a near-perfect on the reading comprehension and writing and majorly bombed the rest.

I remember meeting with my MAcc advisor and him looking up at me in disbelief at what he was seeing.

GMAT is so much easier. Not even close. I leisurely studied off and on for 2 months for the GMAT and got a 750. I kill myself studying night and day for these CPA Exams for 3 months and am barely making 80s.

GMAT is not hard. It seemed like everything I learned in high school. I did not study…and it only became an issue when they hammered me with limitation questions.

Studying with Wiley Review, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja Audio.
    Retakes with Ninja MCQ only...awesome!
    Far - 1/28 72, 7/22 79
    Aud - 2/28 70, 8/14 83
    Bec - 4/10 80
    Reg - 5/30 64, 7/2 82

The GMAT was like a walk in the park compared to the CPA exam.

Due to my University's policy changes I would be accepted into Grad school a semester early if I was able to meet the qualifications before the cutoff date. This gave me only one week (spring break) to study and take it. So I bought a study guide from Amazon and worked through it for the week, taking the exam that Friday (the day after my birthday).

I took it and met the requirements – by the time I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree that year, I was a 1/4 way through my Master's πŸ™‚

    Good Luck
