I still feel sick to my stomach. 30 seconds is a million soccer minutes. Just the thought of Thursday and its like waiting for my first CPA test score.

God that was painful to watch.

It took me years to recover from Brazil's loss in the knockout stage of the 06′ WC. I am still mad at my own country for not having dedicated team. Lets just say I take this personally (I know I need to learn to be a good sport, but that's beside the point). You play to bury people not make friends unless its a charity match (other special circumstances). Which in my world are a few.

The main issue here is that if Ghana beats Portugal, and Germany beats the US, we are out of the tournament and Germany with Ghana move to the next round. This WC ended for me last week as Spain loss the match, but I still go for the US.

Not really. If Germany beats US by 1 goal and Ghana beats Portugal by 1 goal, then US and Ghana are both at 4 point with 0 net goal. However, US beats Ghana. So US goes to top 16.

I thought the CPA exam was complicated until. I recalled how complicated soccer rules for UEFA cup and FIFA WC. They probably had actuary write up this complicated system. It should be you win you go forward that's it.
