Tomorrow the world comes alive, when the largest sporting event in history kicks off in Brazil. If you combine the net worth of the 11 players that will be on the field, you will get the following=

    Group-G

    Germany (810 Million)

    Portugal (425 Million)

    Ghana (82 Million)

    USA (80 Million)

If you were to sell each player in Europe, the nation with the highest net worth will be Spain at 1.2 Billion dollars follow by Brazil (970 Million), Argentina (818 Million),Germany (810 Million),Belgium (667 Million),France (570 Million),England (433 Million), and Italy (427 Million).

Do we have any Soccer fans here? Since everyone here likes numbers, I thought I should include what each nation’s footballers are worth on the open market. Do we have a chance to qualify out of this group? Is there a bigger chance to pass all 4 parts of the CPA exam in 2 weeks then for the US team to win the World Cup?

CR7 didn’t shine today, and I just hope that the US team plays their best game ever. Ghana has a great team, and their players can fly. All African teams are super fast.

Mamabear, how can you compare the two sports? Football is followed by 90% of the world’s population. You just need to understand it, and realize how difficult is to play it.

U.S. Soccer federation isn't sure exactly how many American fans are in Brazil, but more World Cup tickets were sold in the U.S. — more than 154,000 — than in any country outside Brazil. U.S. Soccer supporters make up the largest group of traveling fans in the tournament.

I am a huge soccer fan. It is what will probably be my biggest stumbling block to studying. I can give up my social life and lunch hours and gym time, but I cannot give up my team. I support Germany at national level (today was a beautiful day…. Portugal was Müllered) and Bayern Munich at club level. I won't get to watch as much of the World Cup this time around as I would like, but it will watch the odd match here and there.

USA is my second favorite after Germany.

The way Holland played against Spain, Tthey deserve to be world Champion. I would like US to win the cup, but our team is not up there yet. US Ghana was a fast moving action packed game. Lets see how Brazil and Mexico goes today.

I know nothing about soccer, but out of curiosity I looked it up on wikipedia. Its interesting that the USA only was top 3 once and it was in 1930. If the USA even gets second place they would probably base a movie off the unlikely event.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

If only 25% of this country (80 Million) would follow soccer, we would have one of the best Soccer teams in the world. The only downside is that I don’t think other countries would like us a whole lot. lol

Big Manchester City fan here. Now that we have the Premier League title, it'll be fun to watch all of the Man City player on their respective country's team in the WC.

Best thing about World Cup soccer: The fact that you can scream “GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” every day for 3 weeks, regardless of who you are rooting for.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.
