You cannot go wrong with the infamous, “MYLEGS” mnemonic from REG where Peter Olinto showed his legs and said now you remember my ugly legs when you take REG.

All contracts that must be in writing are:

    Marriage contracts

    contracts over a Year

    Land contracts

    Executor contracts

    Goods over $500 contracts

    Surety/guarantee contracts

    What is yours???

    FAR - 84
    REG - 86
    AUD - 90
    BEC - 88

KO the test in 5 months even though I am a dummy!

Through God all things can happen!

"But, in our defense, accountants aren't really boring people.
We just get excited over boring things."

Lol. That was the first one that I learned.

But I get your meaning. The question was worded correctly. I am just a nonconformist. It's a condition.

Ha, for Roger the mnemonic is GROSS (Goods over $500, Real Estate, Over a year, Suretyship, Statements in Consideration of Marriage).

However my favorite is ICORRIIA (I-Korea is how I remember it) for Audit. Just sounds funny is all.

I was studying FAR while on vacation and was having a very difficult time remembering foreign currency transactions. So my wife came up with ones that helped me remember.

When the Functional Currency is the Dollar, and remeasure to the IS (FCD, then R IS) her's was Frank Can't Dance, Remeasure the Inhibiting Shoes.

Then when the Functional Currency is Foreign, translate to OCI (FCF, T to OCI) . She came up with Frank Can't Fart, Tried to Open Can of Indigestion. We have laughed and laughed about this one, but it works.

@bravesfannc – thats awesome! i needed a laugh this morning

i dont study via mnemonics- my mind just doesnt work like that for some reason, but the one you gave is awesome!

good to see people having fun with the studying process, and their spouses helping them. thats why i like this site- get to see a bit of everything- various study methods/situations/people's employment opportunities/studying vs. life balance, etc etc
