    (CPA exam)
Read the requirement first and then proceed to the information given.
If the question is conceptual try to get rid of the answers that are definitely wrong, this way you will have about 50/50 chance (I am usually left with two possible correct choices)
    (CPA exam study-exam day)
On the way to your exam (I usually drive) tell yourself all the formulae by topic or section. I have my formula sheets with me while driving. (Don't look at it though , that's just in case you struggle to remember). Repeat each formula at least once. The ones you struggle with repeat twice. This way it's a great speed repetition right before exam.

[CPA Exam] Study Time Commitment and Self Study Discipline are Main Keys to succeed for the CPA exam.

Listen to Ninja Audio any free time and Use Ninja Notes are very helpful as well.

[Interview] study your own resume, it might be your life, but I spend a good 30minutes studying my own resume before an interview, so you can easily talk about any opportunity and not be caught off guard.

[CPA Exam] When there are 2 answer choices that are nearly identical with one word changed or are complete opposites one of these is usually the answer. This is a good strategy if you have no idea on an answer you can at least narrow it down to 2 choices.

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

    Interview tips

what do you see yourself in 5 years?

Answer with something that benefits the company, not yourself.
In five years, I see myself providing mentorship to interns and new auditors at X company.

(Public Accounting) When deciding whether to stay in public or move on to private. Ask yourself if you would like to live the life (work-wise) of one of your firm's partners. Then see if you can eliminate some of the things you dislike. If you can live with it, public accounting may just be your cup of tea.

For the exam: Anything you don't have to have for the test, leave at home or in the car – you will have to lock up everything (watch, everything in your pockets, purse, wallet, eyeglass case…) so don't bring it if you don't have to. Also, wear clothing that is easy to check the pockets.

[CPA Exam]: BEC – for the written communication. Tell them what you're going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you told them. Format your memo like that.

Also, I saw a post on this site when I first started studying and it has stuck with me since. “Nobody ever fails the CPA exam, there are only those who give up.”

[CPA Exam] The hardest thing to deal with is the stress and pressure while studying and taking the exam. How I've learned to combat this: 1. Make a study plan 2. Don't focus on what you need to complete in the next year, month, or even week after you make your study plan. Focus on doing all you can do in the next 24 hours. Take it a day at a time or it can be overwhelming. Reward yourself for meeting daily goals.

CPA Exam Prep- When studying McQ's ensure you know why the other answers are incorrect.
Make additional notes on any difficult concepts and go over it again and again til you own it.
Break study session down to 20 minute increments.
Push yourself to do one more 20 minute study session or five more questions every time if possible.
Do all the simulations at least once. They do help.
Remember you can do this and yes it may take a few tries but your getting closer to your goal each attempt.
If you do not succeed take the exam the next open session.

[CPA EXAM] – Answer the easiest simulations first and then the harder ones. That way if you get hung up on a difficult question you will already have the easier ones completed.

    [CPA Exam]

    1. Don't give up!
    2. Take one day off a week from studying.
    3. If you still can't figure something out after using your review material, search the topic on google to read more about it and/or watch a Youtube video with an example.
    4. Repeat starting with tip #1 until you pass all four parts! You're a CPA Ninja! You've got this!

[CPA Exam] Other than getting sleep and to be well rested mentally, read the possible answers starting from D and go up. I tend to get overly excited when I'm confident the answer is A, and I fail to read the rest or just skim over them. This will help you choose the right possible answers from A-D. 🙂

Do MCQs as many as u can. and take it seriously, like doing 30 mcq at least before u want to stand up or doing something else. It helps u focus when u take the real exam.
