Hi All,

Can anyone give me some tips on how to fill out form 3520?

If someone only receive gifts from foreign person, they only need to fill out part IV of the form right?

Also for the first part, the check box “initial return” final return”, which box should be check if submitting?

For 2a and 3, if there are no foreign trust, do we just leave it blank?, for 4a, if there are no decedent, do we leave it blank?

Also, from my research online, it looks like we can’t e-file form 3520, we need to submit it in paper form to IRS? can anyone confirm?
