Did you feel that the questions got really detailed (i.e., required high level of proficiency with concepts) or did the questions stay at a very broad level (i.e., where if you did the homework and understood most the concepts you could answer it)?

I am just stressing out … my own fault! Even though this will be my second time taking it I still don’t know what to expect.

I take my FAR retake next Monday. I'm hitting questions missed last time seen/trouble questions until Saturday which I'll do strictly SIMs. Probably will take Sunday completely off to do something fun. I feel if I don't know it now after a 1 1/2 months of studying then I won't know it. So, I don't know when your retake is, but I say go do something fun to get your mind off of it.

I feel like the Ninja/Becker MCQ are very wordy. Much more so than what's on the actual exam.

    Best of luck!

The first time I took it, I'd say all the testlets seemed to be about equal difficulty – I failed. The second time, I breezed through the first testlet, the second was unbelievably difficult, and the third was somewhere in between. The first time I took AUD, I also thought all the testlets were about equal in difficulty, and I failed.

I'm pretty convinced by now that a noticeable change in difficulty between your testlets is pretty much necessary to pass. Maybe I'm wrong though, a “change in difficulty” is completely subjective. You could be completely prepared and think they are all easy, and smoke the exam. You never know.

I am cramming because I decided to barely do anything related to studying for most of november and december :-/ So, no room for anymore fun until after the 15th! lol. I am doing a chapter a day (not ideal, but my second time being exposed to the material). If I stay on my schedule I will have 2 days to review.

Good luck on your exam, I am sure a day of rest will serve you well and is deserved.

CPA2BE – I finished FAR my first time with over an hour left and failed. I got mostly conceptual questions and they didn't seem too hard. I am anticipating that this exam will be nothing like my first one … that has been my experience with my AUD retake anyway, there was no comparison between the two.

Yup – you get a whole new exam. If I could give any advice for a FAR retake, its to go over EVERYTHING again. You will pick up a lot more knowledge on your weak areas and even the areas you thought you had nailed down. That worked for me anyway, start from scratch.

Don't underestimate governmental! It's easy to overlook and think you won't need to study it. Don't make that mistake.

Motivated by JC. I do it to make God proud.

@tripin – My first time around I did best on Gov/NFP. I took live lectures and it was emphasized. I definitely will not skimp on my time with those topics! I am just hoping that I can recall the information easily once I start studying.

@kyleAUD is really hard to judge, I took it twice and both times I was unsure how I did. The second time I passed, which I was thankful because I didn't know how much more I could have learned! I notice that AUD has a lot of tricky questions that are not hard if you truly understand. I passed REG on my first try and didn't notice a difference in testlet difficulty.

khodges – you will get it this time! The first time I took FAR was last jan/feb … I can honestly say that I know much more this time around than I did that first time. Good luck. Doing a chapter a day isn't as hard as it seems if you have the time. It is taking me about 12 hours a day (with frequent breaks), but I am doing it! lol

I never experienced the varying levels of difficulty between test lets in FAR . They all seemed about the same to me. I passed with an 80 thankfully.

I would recommend that you do as many MCQs prior to your exam as you possibly can.

    First Step:
BANG OUT YOUR REVIEW COURSE MATERIAL (TEXTBOOK, LECTURES, HIGHLIGHT THIS, HIGHLIGHT THAT)

    Second Step:
    BUY SOME SCRAP PAPER

    Third Step:
BUY NINJA MCQ AND DO SETS OF 30
USE THE ON-SCREEN CALCULATOR, THIS WILL GET YOU INTO EXAM ATTACK MODE

    Fourth Step:
DO MORE MCQs BECAUSE CHANCES ARE YOU CAN ALWAYS DO MORE

    FAR:75!
    AUD:69, 63, 73, TBD
    BEC:76!
    REG:71, TBD

    BECKER + NINJA PRODUCTS

    keep your cool
