Floyd didn't look good either, he usually lands over 50% of his punches, for example, he landed 54% versus Maidana with 34% of his jabs landing. Last night he landed 34% of his punches and just 25% of his jabs which is very low for him.
Pac is not known for landing his jabs as he only landed 16% against Algeiri in his last fight. While Pac is not known for accuracy, he is known for landing a higher volume which he didn't do last night as Mayweather sidestepped every time Pac tried to close the distance.
I was afraid that Mayweather would go the route of evading and landing a few shots each round, it doesn't make an exciting fight, but I guess that's his style. The only way that Pac was winning this fight was a KO punch with Floyd evading or holding onto Pac every time they got close. Imagine if both fighters in a fight had that same style, no one would ever land a shot!
