Hey all,

Like the title says its my first accounting job. A little background of myself I have a Bachelors in Accting, managed to pass all four of the CPA exams, work a seasonal job at HRBlock and a year-round job at a privately owned business that processes their own credit card transactions. I have no other experience under my belt in accounting, not even an internship from a local cpa firm. I have applied for jobs from no experience needed to 3-5 yrs experience needed. I never could get an intership while I was in school and now I have been out for more than a two years to take and pass the cpa before it changed this year.
I feel like I am doing terrible at my year round job. It is completely unrelated to the things I know about acct. I get along with the people there but I feel like I received substandard training and am still having hard time understanding things.
So my question is, assuming I do get fired or something bad, will it look bad on my background for future jobs?
