    Hello,

I am currently seeking to work at a new place that has in-house accountant. One of the workers is a CPA but not a active CPA. My last requirement I need for my CPA license is fishing my 2,000 working hours under a CPA. My question is, if they are not a active CPA but ARE a CPA, could that person still verify my working hours? or do they have to be active CPA to verify your working hours?

    Thank You!

Key to passing the exam is understanding the topic chapter and sections, not just memorizing what you read. The more you practice multiple choice, the greater chance you have to passing the exam.

Take a look at your state license application. It will state whether a person signing has to be an active licensed cpa for certain number of years leading to the date of signature.

It all depends on state. In California, one active CPA must sign.
