    Hi all,

Feel pretty depressing at the moment. I think tax season making me feel miserable! Working 6 days a week, took Far and Bec but failed badly. Not sure if I will have enough time to study and sit for May exam, eventhough I am trying to study everyday. Getting really tired about current job. Meeting deadline almost every month. Mentally think that Unable to get to a better job without getting the CPA. Tired of of everything that going on in my life now. Nothing is going the way I wanted. 🙁

Hey you prob make good money though right? Those are only setbacks, not failures..yet.

there are few ppl who can pass any of the exams during busy season and in fact most people say not to bother unless the material is fresh in your mind, or you don't mind having no life and your brain still manages to work after all that. Just remember the end is in sight. I started taking energy and focus pills on amz, maybe that will help?

IDK I think if you have enough money sure you can take the exams as many time as you want (I know one who was in public accounting and passed finally after 3 times…although that's no longer as feasible with score release issue) but it's not efficient. Maybe wait until after you're tax season *busIEST time* and study longer. The most important thing is you retain information so you might also need to switch

I think you need to regroup and take a break honestly; focus on your work or maybe think of switching after tax season. Study during your non-busy season unless it's always busy, then you probably should slow down your studying. I learned I retained info better when I didn't try to cram it all in my head. The only time I time to cram is when I'm reviewing.

You're braver than me, I would never try studying for any of those HARD sections especially when I'm that busy, so if you manage to pass one while working that hard, I commend you…but if you don't, it's understandable, but obviously something needs to change. Good luck!

I am sorry you did not pass the exams you took. You need to stop limiting yourself by thinking that you cannot get a better job without a CPA. I landed a job at a Big 4 and then a regional firm without a CPA. If your job is making you this miserable and depressed then it's time to start looking. No reason to hold off till after you pass. You have the power to change your current situation.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

Thank you guys for the kind words. I think I really need to switch job, I feel I'm being treated unfairly. my salary is lower than what a fresh graduate associate making in big 4. 🙁
