    Anywhere quiet.
If the house is noisy I'll go to the office.
Those have been my only 2 options so far.
If neither worked for me I would seek out a local either public or campus library.
As long as you act like you belong there, no one bats an eye.
My old community college had a computer room that would be awesome as well.

I live in a studio in Manhattan, surprisingly even living with my gf it works really well. If it didn't work, I'd seek out the local coffee shop or library.

@kbshah The most quiet place for me to study was my office; no one would be there on Saturdays (normally). Second most quiet was my local library. If you want to go somewhere more lively but don't want to be too distracted by the noise, find a local coffee shop (not Starbucks) that isn't overly crowded all the time, pop in some earbuds with white noise going (or some other noisemaker) and study.

Sometimes it's just nice to stay in the pajamas and study at home.

    Good luck!

Barnes & Noble cafe was my spot. Pop on my noise cancelling headphones to do questions and watch video lectures. It had a few moments, but overall not too noisy at all. And when you feel like taking a break, some netflix/youtube is there for you.

The whole study at home thing never worked for me… ever.

For me, studying at the office has been really effective. Especially after work hours and during the weekends. It's really peaceful as no one is here during that time. Also, Facebook and Youtube is blocked which makes it harder to get distracted during the downtime.

I also like to study at my office and have a hard time concentrating at home. But sometimes it's nice to go somewhere else like a coffee shop… sometimes I can concentrate better when there are things going on around me that I need to ignore.

Campus libraries work best; especially ones that let you bring in snacks. Starbucks is too noisy. I would go to the office when the libraries weren't open.

In my city, starbucks are awful for studying. Panera is a good one but the busy ones or during busy hours have limits on how long you can sit there. Coffee shops and libraries are good. Most college libraries require an ID in order to get in them so unless you have an alumni ID for that campus I am not sure how people are able to get into those (for those that do, can you please share how you do it because I no longer live near the college I graduated from but would love to study in a different college library)

I live in the burbs so the library by me is mostly either really young kids (high school or below) or older people (over 50). While I think the quite work environment is helpful I liked going to Starbucks because there is always people around my age (late 20s early 30s) studying so it helps to keep me motivated.
