6 weeks should be plenty for a FAR retake. I ended up with 12 weeks for my first time and that was too long in hindsight. I was forgetting too much of what I learned despite trying to review it.

    BEC - 02/21/15 - 82
    FAR - 05/29/15 - 82
    AUD - 07/09/15 - 93
    REG - 11/14/15 - 80

    All done!!!

I'd study FAR as if it were brand new material, beginning to end, not moving on from any section until you can do consistently well on the MCQ for that section. Depending on other commitments and how much time you devote to studying per day, 6 weeks can definitely be enough time

You can start with a random MCQ for that section only. If you did poorly, study that section in the book and keep working MCQs until you do well. If you do well on your initial MCQ, take a few more just to make sure it wasn't the ‘luck of the draw' (this will also solidify the concepts in your mind) and move on if you are doing well consistently on that section.

If you studied for 6 weeks before, you'd likely have to make some significant changes to your study routine to study 6 weeks and pass. What is your study schedule like?

@Mla11692….HUH? If you studied 6 weeks originally and got reasonably close to passing, I'd think another 6 weeks would be too much. So, not sure I understand what you are saying. Of course wouldn't hurt to use 6 additional weeks, but if you got close the first time, I'd think you only would need an additional 3-4 weeks of review and touching up on what you struggled on. It is not like you are starting over from square 1. You are mostly just reviewing to keep it fresh in your head and go over the topics you struggle at.

I feel what really hurt me the first time is i took 3-4 months to study FAR so i forgot so much. This time around i will have to do at least 3 hours a week day and 6-8 on the weekend to get in enough time to study for this beast.
