How much of the IFRS stuff am I supposed to remember for FAR? Like really man.. I’m having enough trouble as it is trying to remember all the US GAAP rules..

Becker gives us little IFRS fact nuggets here and there and it’s too much.. i dont know how i’m going to remember all this info

Only a couple more days before i take my exam and i really dont know how i’m going to remember everything. I review one topic and forget the topic i reviewed the day before…And when i say i forget, i dont mean like it’s completely wiped from my memory, i mean forgetting in the sense that i cant do these problems without having to go back and look at the book

There is a large and growing level of continuity between the 2. So, with the exception of a few big concepts, amortize GW etc, I've seen people suggest just answering IFRS questions like they're GAAP and move on.

I agree, there are a couple significant differences which are probably highlighted in your course, but don't bother putting a lot of time into the rest of it.

this close to exam time, your time is much better served most places besides IFRS

I found this obnoxious too…deliberately went light on IFRS…and got CRAP TONS of IFRS questions. This was in 16′. It was BRUTAL.

Ifrs is one reason I failed my last far test. For me, it was HEAVILY tested.

Everyone's exam is different so you should probably study the ones that might be most likely tested (i.e. Goodwill) just in case you get IFRS questions on yours.

I have my exam in a week. Seems like IFrS should be low priority but who knows
