Things are not going well based on NINJA MCQ. Currently trending 53% and averaging 54% through 900 questions. Does anyone have any advice on how to best utilize my time these next 3 days?

I have the NINJA notes and was going to attempt to re-write them each day. That would give me 3x of re-written notes. Also supplement more NINJA MCQ.

The weird thing is that I did decent on the AICPA practice exam. I cringe when I get a bond or stock question so I know I need to spend more time on that. Any advice is appreciated!

Know every subject at a high level. If it is coming up that soon, try to get comfortable with basics of every topic. Spend a day on Government and NFP and make sure you are solid on that. Waiting on my score for FAR on September 22nd. With as difficult as the studying was, I actually expected a harder test. It wasnt the nightmare I anticipated (which means I probably failed).

I have FAR on Friday as well. I am spending the next few days skimming through the NINJA book and refreshing myself on as many of those practice “application” questions as possible. On Thursday, I will go over all the more complex MCQs I've saved from all the topics…I've saved at least 100 of those. I'll also probably review a few of the SIMs on Thursday if I get to it.

I personally haven't taken any notes. I just do MCQ after MCQ and after a while you will be able to answer these questions with a bit of pattern recognition. I screenshot the more difficult questions as I go along and review them a day or two before the exam. It has worked for the previous two sections I've passed.

But my best advice to you is if you are comfortable enough with the most heavily tested topics, then focus a bit on your weaker areas and also the SIMs so you can maximize as many points as possible. Good luck!

I'm sitting on Friday too. Keep on cranking those questions, JEs, and review any condensed material (ninja notes, focus notes, flashcards, saved trouble questions, etc…) Best of luck!

Update – with the test in less than 24 hours, I'm trending 60% and averaging 56% through 1,350 questions. I ditched the re-write notes plan and will just read through the notes multiple times and continue with MCQ throughout the day.

Is there any hope for a pass? Ready to be DONE. I could prepare more, but I want to atleast give it a shot since score release is in a week and a half…

hey Fratty, good luck tomorrow and make sure you give yourself at least 2 hours on the SIMS. Those SIMS are no joke for real and its time consuming since most of them have multiple documents. Good luck!
