What is it about this part of the chapter?!? The material is straight forward but then the becker MCq’s throw you for a loop! Anyone else feel the becker questions are crazy convoluted? I sure hope some of you can assure me that the real exam will not get as crazy as these questions! I have leases down pat! But it’s the bonds…argh!

This is my second time through the material and I have done well on everything but these bonds.. I cannot even stand to look at another MCq without the thought of jumping out of my 3 story window head first onto the car parked beneath.

I have to move on from this chapter in my review. I just can’t take it anymore and it’s eating up time I can be spending on nailing down govt/nfp…

    Using Becker self-study
    FAR: (82) 175 hours - 1st attempt
    BEC: (XX)
    AUD: (69) 45hrs of study - 1st attempt
    REG: (XX)

Move on from this chapter and definitely focus on government and NFP. Based off the guidelines, you are sure to see lots of government and NFP. While there are no guarantees about how many lease/bond questions you will get nor what type of lease/bond you will be asked about, you can be sure that they will play much less of a role in your MCQ's than govt/nfp.

Do make sure to know the basics, because chances are you can get a very basic computation or concept on leases and/or bonds. Knowing the basics can also help you eliminate some wrong answers even if you're unsure. I crazily over studied every single little detail of leases and bonds inside and out and stressed myself so much. I got asked a few basic questions and never ran into crazy Becker-like computations on those subjects. This being said, everyone's test is different and you could get 10 questions and a SIM on F5 while the kid sitting next to you may only get 1 or 2 questions.

Come back to it at the end and don't bog yourself down right now. Going in, its impossible to know absolutly everything perfectly. You have to pick and chose your battles! In this battle, govt/nfp prevails

    AUD: 98
    REG: 91
    BEC: 86
    FAR: 83

DONE DONE DONE and DONE all on the first try! It IS possible, just keep on studying!

I'm in the same boat. I've finished reviewing both bonds and leases in F5… The leases questions were ok. The bonds questions… Oh man… I feel so frustrated with myself over not being able to nail those. It really eats up at you… I'm hoping that what everyone says is true about the actual exam. The difficulty on some of these Becker questions doesn't make me feel good at all. I have NInja MCQs for my final review. I'm not going to bother with Becker during my last 2 weeks. I'm so over this….

    AUD: Pass (WTB)
    BEC: Pass (Ninja/Becker)
    REG: Pass (WTB)
    FAR: Pass!!! (Becker/WTB/Ninja)

DONE!! 🙂 It's SO nice to be able to finally write this. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!
