Does anyone know if there is some kind of petition you can do if the licensing manager at the board of accountancy denies your extension for credit? Not only am I a victim of the score release delema but my mother in law was diagnose and passed from terminal cancer all in a 15 month span while dealing with these exams and ensuring my kids had adequate time with her before she passed. Any ideas?

I'm sorry for what you've been through, I've never heard of someone successfully challenging their state board but you can try contacting NASBA.

I had never heard of it either till I started doing some research and it happens all the time in NY I guess. The board of Regents has a ton of appeals online and wasn't sure if other states had something similar. A lot of the reasons they used were not very significant in my opinion. One was even due to a computer malfunction caused them to be “worked up” and made them fail by 1 point. That is just one example if you google it you can see there are tons.
