I recently received my last score and found out that I was eligible for the EWS award. I was understandably excited and shared this news with my family and a few people in my office. Someone in my office told me the other day that he knew a guy who got it last year who received an email with his last score that said he was not allowed to say anything about the EWS award until they announced the winners. I didn’t receive any letter like this, and I’m a little concerned that my telling some people will have a negative impact on receiving the award. My manager has also been telling people that I received the award, so I’m not sure if I should politely ask him to stop.

Can any prior EWS award winners shed any light on this? Also, do we have to submit our final scores to the AICPA in some sort of application for the award, or do we just wait?

@UCMCPA I think PwC may be the only one that does? That's the only name I ever hear being thrown around, when I asked my firm if they offered something similar they straight out said no haha.

Surprises me due to the fact that if one Big 4 offers it, the others likely will. I would have guessed since they can be competitive they would, guess not!
