As motivation I think of some of the things I will ask for/get paid for once I hang up my CPA certificate in my office:
-Annual membership to AICPA
-Annual license renewal of state board of accountancy
-Interesting CPE classes for credit to maintain license
-Sickest frames for AICPA and state board certificates for office wall
-New office desk, leather couch and flat screen TV for office

Does anyone else think of things they would want paid for by their employers once they become certified?

OP- I will get none of those things because I am self-employed. lol But my sanity and self-confidence will be restored and I will feel proud knowing I accomplished my goals without giving up. 🙂
