I know nothing is impossible but boy am I just certain I am never going to pass the CPA exam. A lot of this stems from other people’s experiences but I just don’t see how I can remember all the information that will be tested on the exam.
First of all I am in my masters course now. I am taking a class that requires us to study off the Gleim BEC review. I will most definitely be using Becker for the actual test but as I go through the sections and the weeks go by I can’t remember all the things I’ve learned. Our class is set up where we do a chapter a week and every 3 week we are tested and have 3 simulations, 3 writing assignments and 3 quizzes to accompany each exam. So I already feel just studying the material, doing all those assignments required, working 40 hours a week and focusing on another class is already overwhelming. I’m also not sure I am someone who can study for the CPA or pass a section while still in graduate school. I know alot of people do but I just don’t see how it can fit into my schedule if every semester I’m taking 3 classes at least. I’m trying to complete my program in a year and a half. I know one semester I’ll have to stop working because there’s no way I can do 3 classes and work the amount that I do. I really hope that as I start studying for the CPA exam that things I’ve studied over my undergraduate and graduate years will come into play. I’m also terrible at standardized tests and application. My brain just freezes and forgets all the formulas I spent hours reviewing.
Okay sorry for venting, I’m just so overwhelmed with everything and I haven’t even actually starting studying for the exam. not to mention i am currently in the process of getting a job in the public sector so that is just going to suck as well.
Thanks! 🙂
