I have an economic degree from the international university, but I also received my bachelor and masters degrees in Accounting from the US college (new york). A lot of credits were transferred towards my US bachelor degree from the international college and actually I earned only 110 credits in US. All official transcripts were sent directly to the US college before they accepted me and they evaluated them just fine and I graduated and have 178 credits in total.
Now, I was told that in order for me to sit for CPA exam, NASBA has to get another set of my international transcripts sent to them directly from the international university, as I don’t meet the education requirements. I read the NASBA website all over and called them and still can’t understand the point of it. If my credits were already evaluated by US college ones – why is it a need for another set? Can they say that my credits don’t meet the requirements? It’s very frustrating as I graduated from another country more than 13 years ago and last time they gave me a hard time getting things done and sending transcripts to here. How I have to go through this process again. OMG :((
Did anyone ever have similar situation?
