    Hi all,

    I need two more courses to fulfill the education requirement.

    I’m taking them online at Foothill College. Anyone else in the same boat?

    I think we spoke before. I have ONE ethics course that I must fulfill because I was LITERALLY 1/3 unit short of my accounting requirement. I hate these education credits.

    Yep! That stinks… You'd think they'd make an exception for something like that. Having to pay $200 for 1/3 of a unit is such a waste.

    I registered late, so I can't get into the Ethics course this semester. I still need one more accounting course in addition, so I'm taking payroll/business tax accounting, which I suppose will help me understand some of those topics a little more. Not a total loss I suppose.

    Yeah, I was a lot more proactive in trying to get my Ethics course this quarter. Even though, I'm still technically waitlisted but I spoke to the instructor and she informed me that I should be able to be enrolled in the class since I'm high on the wait list.

    I'm in the same boat. My state won't even tell me if i'm taking the correct classes. Guess we'll find out in a few months, when I apply and discover I screwed up on something.

    Just think, if you lived in Peurto Rico, you would only need 120 credit hours. Unfortunately, you need to be a resident of that state to apply for a license there. I was contemplating it.

    B=84 This exam was such a b**** that I thought I failed-don't know how these things work
    A=76 Slacker I am, I'll happily take it
    R=81 I LOVE taxes
    F=80 I don't wanna get banned for an expletive I'm thinking with "yea" proceeding it

    I'm in the same boat, taking 2 classes at Foothill this quarter. Will sign up for the next two when the 2nd half of the quarter starts too. I need 2 accounting study classes and 2 ethics study classes. I'm actually kind of looking forward to a normal amount of material to study, as opposed to CPA books I studied last year.

    REG - 2/19/16 - 77!
    BEC - 4/16/16 - 79!!
    AUD - 6/04/16 - 84!!!
    FAR - 8/31/16

    Seriously. After studying every day for 6 months and then stopping cold turkey, I feel like I NEED this class just to do something a couple nights a week haha…

    Okay, I'm hoping no Foothill Administration is here. But the classes that are offered there, are sincerely a joke. You pay for the hwk software and you can EASILY get an A for barely trying. I sincerely paid $200 for those 5 units for my intermediate accounting class. Now I'm really hoping the ethics class is the same without me paying for the hwk software (boy, no wonder people complain how expensive education is).

    @hasy

    So… I paid like $170 for the course. You're saying the homework software is $200 or did you pay $200 total for the software and the course?

    I'm hoping I don't have to buy anything because I've already invested enough in this CPA thing…
