Hello,
I passed all sections in Georgia and try to apply in Illinois. Regarding the education requirement, I finished up my first two years at the foreign institution during my undergraduate and I finished up junior and senior year and have an undergraduate degree at the U.S institution. I also got a graduate degree in accounting from AACSB accredited accounting program in U.S. Credits earned at the foreign institution were transferred in my transcript of the U.S institution. Excluding Credits earned at the foreign institution, I got 150+ credits earned at the U.S institution.
In this case, do I still submit the original transcript from the foreign institution with the evaluation of foreign credits even though i don’t want them to be considered? When I applied in Georgia, they said I don’t have to. So, I didn’t submit the transcript from the foreign institution.
Education requirements in Illinois are 150 credits and graduate degree in accounting from AACSB(accounting) program.
I called and emailed the Illinois Board of Accountancy but was no luck to have someone to ask.
Thanks for reading and your advice.
