Do you put additional designations after your name? - Page 3

    If you are already a CPA, would you put additional designations and certificates that you receive after your name, or is that considered tacky? Such as CMA, CFE, CIA, CGMA? If you do, when does it stop?

    Would you put it on a business card?

    Would you put it in your resume?

    Would you put it on your email signature?

    Some scenarios it'd make sense to tack the whole alphabet on there. Had a professor for a forensic accounting class that said if you're going in the courtroom, it helps to have all your letters and designations for credibility.

    personally, going into audit don't see need for anything other than CPA. But if it's relevant to what you're doing, I say throw certs on there.
