Just going through the past passing trends and observed Q3 is best ,is it coincidence of last 10 years or they feel enough enough and let some people go out of the gate ?

Q3 may have the highest passing rate that is mainly because for most people, it isn't busy season and not to mention fresh grads coming off of school taking the exams.

Do I think Q3 will be easier? I doubt, in fact I believe it would be the same difficulty as Q2 because on Q2 and in the future, the AICPA will be testing higher level order skills. Not to mention, why would the AICPA want make the exams easier?

Honestly that way I see it, if so many people got slaughter by the sims, they will simply be worth more points because less people are getting them correct. So just gotta make sure you somehow obtain enough of each sim correct and do good enough on the mcq.

AICPA initially wanted 9 SIMS per paper but based on test data ,they reduced it 8 ( as per Roger's ).I was told by an old timer they do adjust based on how many are passing.
May be some review courses bring some good materials for people like to take the new SIMs format.

Yes , Anthony ,how long u took for MCQ ? I feel I need suggestions how to speed MCQ ? I knew each questions and took almost two and half hours.
Earlier remembering all FAR topics was a challenge when I used to reach ch 4 , chap1-2 were washed out.Somehow I over come that as now I revisit 5 chapters a day ( main points ,my own notes of few pages ). I have studied FAR for last two months like crazy and I feel no improvements.I took almost same time for MCQ as I took last time even though last time it was 90 questions.
I need to practice like Mtaylo.300 MCQ a day.

Mtaylo24 dying right now. That is how I felt as well. I might as well have been reading hieroglyphs with a million things running through my mind at the same time. I can see it presented this way or that way or just forgetting which source tab document had the right information on it to refer back and forth.

@WannaFree I spent about 1 hr and 5 minutes on the mcq and the rest on sims. The way that I attack it is go through each mcq one at a time and answer those I think I can get done in like 20 secs and go back and answer the longer ones. On my first testlet I randomly guessed on like 3 mcq in order to keep up with the time. Once I picked an answer, I will rarely or never go back and check. No point in second guessing yourself and bring the possibility of getting it wrong when you have it right.

The only way to can be fast as a ninja on the mcq is know the material very well and be able to answer questions without really thinking about, kind of like muscle memory. It just happens. The only way to built muscle memory is to work through a lot of mcq and to know the material as well as your name.

Yes I think I have read too much Becker's materials and practiced less.Mostly 50 MCQ a day and that too sometimes a gap of 3-4 days.That is the only crack I have identified so far.
I have also noted some MCQ I given much more time than it deserved.Next time planning to guess those questions so that I can have at least 2.5 Hours for SIMs.
