I just took FAR on 9/8 pass or fail I’m continuing on with Audit. I want to schedule 7 weeks out from today but everything is full until end of November. I booked November 27 but thats more than two months away. I only have 18 months with my Becker program and seconds cannot be wasted. I need to get this done and over with.

What do you guys do? Keep studying and keep checking for a date to open up?

I scheduled all of my exams no more than 7 days in advance. Things for me just always opened up. Granted, I live in NY with about 8 testing centers within a two-hour commute. But if you check often enough, especially in the week or two leading up to a testing date, something's bound to open up. People cancel and reschedule all the time. YMMV.

YES!!!!! People always change exam dates and something can open. I've been in the same situation as you where the date I wanted/needed was not availble, but I kept checking daily and eventually something opened – every.single.time.

^^oh, and I'd to add that I am not in an area where there is a Prometric site; I have to drive hours regardless of the one I choose.

No, because there are a few women i know of who are both lonely and desperate enough that i can call if my date is not available.
