Do Illinoians (and other non CPAES states) get congratulatory letters?

    I want it as sort of a confirmation that everything is in the system correctly and the Illinois Board acknowledges that you passed.

    Do I have to complete Ethics before I receive this?

    I'm not sure if it's before or after you complete the ethics exam (I did the ethics test the same day I found out about my 4th passing score), but you do get a letter saying congrats, as well as a pamphlet for the IL CPA Society.
