Took REG today and I had 38 mins left on the clock. Since it wont let me go back, I didnt know what to do so I just submitted it. I feel like this could go either way — super bad or regular bad. Anyways, wondering if anyone else had similar experience. What do you do when u have time left?

I always had time left on the clock. I would work through the MCQs quickly and go with my gut, so I never had less than an hour remaining. I would just double check the testlet I was in, and then submit.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

Completely normal. I took AUD twice and both times I left virtually the same amount of time, about 50 minutes, on the clock for each exam. I think I had 30 minutes left when I completed REG. It's safe to say that I'm not going to have that luxury of time when I take BEC in September this year or FAR in Q1/2020 since they both can be calculation heavy.

I paid for that 4 hours and I used every minute.
One exam I might have submitted 5 minutes early. FAR I got timed out on. Can't remember the rest exactly but I used the time to double and triple check, and use the AL or REGS where they were available.

Completely normal. Everyone's experience differs. Here's the time I spent:
    REG: 2.5 hours
    BEC: 4.0 hours (timed out)
    AUD: 1.5 hours
    FAR: 3.0 hours

I've always been a pretty quick test taker. I took longer on FAR as I feel like I probably rushed AUD looking back.

I had time left on the clock for FAR and REG – between 45 minutes to 1 hr. BEC, I had 30 seconds left on the clock when I submitted my last testlet.

I don't leave time left on the clock because I like to use all the time I am given especially on the simulations. Also, because I am given the time I feel like i should utilize because why would i want to to leave time left on the clock when i can go and double check my answers, but everyone is different, so to each his/her own.

For MCQ, I moved on when I was ready. I actually tried to give myself at least an hour for the (at the time) 7 SIMS. So when I had the answer, I moved on. I had 3 MCQ testlets at that time so I gave myself 30 minutes max per section. If I only needed 20 minutes, so be it.

For the SIMs, I used the entire time even if I would've otherwise finished early. First, I read each set of instructions to scout them out. Next, I started with the easiest (for me) first to get my confidence up. Then I went to the one with the most blanks, with an eye on ending with the one with the least. If I got stuck I moved on and came back. But, I wanted to maximize the points. The last 10 minutes were spent either checking all the SIMs for blanks missed and last minute checks of areas I had to guess.

I had 2-2.5 hrs left on the clock for AUD, REG, BEC. I had 15 seconds on FAR. 🙂

Clarification:. I passed my last exam in Dec 2018.

That said, you should figure out how much time you need to complete the SIMs and budget the MCQ time accordingly.

I had about 1.5-2hr left on all 4 exams. I probably would have used more time, but you can't go back to previous sections. I zipped through the MCQs to make sure I had extra time for SIMs. Which was great, but then when they SIMs didn't take as long as you planned you couldn't go back and check your other answers and get stuck with a bunch of extra time.

Some of you guys have some really impressive scores while leaving plenty of time on the exams. The only exam I finished with time to spare (maybe 45 minutes) was REG and I only scored a 79. The highest score I got was an 82 in AUD and I used the full time for that one.

    FAR - 75 | REG - 87 | AUD - 82 | LAW - 81
