Hi All,

For those who have worked at Deloitte in FS Tax, any idea what to expect with yearly raise and bonuses? I recently got an offer and my base is lower than I expected but was told a 15% bonus was not out of the realm of possibility. The question is, is that a raise for the top performers or is that an actual realistic amount I could expect each year. Lastly, what are the raises like? Thanks!!

all depends on market conditions, but they typically rate staff each year in the annual review process and when i was in big 4 the year-end bonus pool was somewhere in the range of 0 – 10/15% depending on how the overall economy trended and the firm performed. If you were rated a “1”, being the highest, you would see a bonus in the 8 – 15% range again pending market conditions. Your raise was predicated on promotions and/or cost of living.
