Hello,

I will be starting to work with Deloitte in a few months. I had a minor criminal offense on my record when I was 18 and and it was expunged 6 months later. I am paranoid about the offense showing up on my criminal background check with Deloitte. Can anyone tell me what criminal background check company Deloitte uses so I can get ahead of the game and make sure that the item will not show up on my criminal background check?

Did you call the “Cleaners” to get rid of the bodies? Because if you did, they have nothing against you.

I have expunged offenses as well and multiple companies have hired me after doing background check, which I assume are similar to Deloitte's. Many applications even say if an offence is expunged then you don't have to disclose it. Don't worry about it is my advice, I've been there and worrying was a waste of my time.

I appreciate the response. I know that I am most likely paranoid and overreacting. My question is if anyone knows the exact background search that Deloitte uses. Then I would be able to perform a search on myself before they do to be sure.
