    Hi,

I moved to US a few months ago. I am improving my English and at the same time I am looking for a job as an accountant. It is being very hard and I am feeling that I am wasting my time.

For these reason I decided to study accounting and I think CPA is a good option.

But I do not know if my degree and master in Economics are enough.

So, Could someone tell me how I can check whether my studies are valid? And how can I get more credits? with, for example, Wiley CPAexcel course I would get credits needed to become a CPA?

    Thanks so much in advance…

Your best bet is to contact your state board of accountancy or check with NASBA, they list individual state requirements to sit for the exam. Good luck!

    AUD (2/16)-84
REG (05/16)-69 Retake (7/16)-79 (ty ninja MCQ)
    BEC-TBD
    FAR-9/8/16

Have you applied from any agency that does the foreign degree/credits evaluation for international credentials like WES, ECE, USCES, etc.?

I got my transcript of records evaluated by WES at roughly $150 – $200 fees. The evaluation or equivalency report was the document I submitted so the State Board could review and/or determine my eligibility to sit for US CPA exams.
