Someone got my credit card information…again. Apparently, someone bought an airline ticket under my name. I mean, something like this just happened 3 months ago. I’ve only been using my credit card at gas stations, grocery stores, and occasionally online. I’ve figured it’s best to not use it online from now on, but without figuring out how this information keeps leaking then it’s hard to fix the issue. Comments, suggestions?

Thanks for the heads up. I have suspected that might be a possible explanation. Pay at the pump station: risk of getting the card skimmed. Pay inside the store: risk of the cashier getting your card information. Sheesh, as if getting gas isn't aleady troublesome…

I agree with the last comment. Same thing happened to me 6 months ago. Someone bought a $900 airline ticket to Brazil. And it was my DEBIT CARD!! I can't begin to tell you how much that sucks. Took about 2 weeks to get my $$ back. And I traced my only purchase that day to a gas pump at 7-11. I will NEVER pay at the pump again. EVER.

Had this happen, they tried to buy 2k worth of stuff.

Like 700 from home depot in another state, and 1300 from QVC online. Apparently, they wanted a lot of makeup.

Mine was PayPal…someone hacked my account and kept taking 500 out of my checking account until it was empty. Luckily my bank gave me all the money back while I disputed with PayPal, then when PayPal finally gave me the money back my bank took it back.

However this is why I hate paypal, over 2 weeks fighting with them and the weren't very nice about it.

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!
