CPE Credit for Multiple Licenses

My CPA firm does not seem to know the answer, and I may need to contact each board directly, but hoping someone here may know as well.

I am currently a CPA in NYS, and have also taken and passed the CIA and CFE exams. Now in doing my CPE, are you able to ‘double dip’ the CPE credits? For the CIA, I need a total of 40 as well, and have done the required 20 specific in audit and another 24 in fraud related. Assuming that all counts towards all 3 certifications, I should only need 2 more hours in Ethics for the CFE.

I would find it very strange if I needed separate CPE for each, which would be a total of 100 a year, 40 CPA, 40 CIA, and 20 CFE.

    Anyone know the answer?

Seems like you can use the same CPE, but I don't know the official answer. Please share if you find out because I was wondering the same thing for another state.

Anyone know if the same cpe credits can be used for multiple licenses. I am thinking about taking the EA exams casually after the CPA exam.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

There is a CPA, CIA in my office and she uses the same CPE for both licences. Keeping in mind the concentration requirement for the CIA and the Ethics requirement for the CPA
