Hi All, to those who are employed as CPA’s in New Jersey (or tri-state area) who don’t mind sharing their salary information….would you provide your position/experience/salary information?

I’m working on planning for the future…that includes learning of salary levels in different fields, etc. for CPA’s in NJ. The stats I look up are ambiguous to say the least. $60-$90, even wider is the gap some resources offer…it doesn’t tell me much.

I currently make $54,000 (plus bonus – not sure how much that will be) as a 1st year staff accountant, started August 2014. Prior to this, I had 9months experience in private accounting doing A/P and interned for a small firm during busy season.

I've passed all 4sections of the CPA exams. People without passing started off at $52,000.
