Hello CPA’s and future CPA’s.
Recently I graduated from Mississippi and earned my bachelor’s in accounting. Mississippi requires 24 upper-level accounting hours to be eligible for the CPA exam, and Texas requires 30 upper-level hours. I have a total of 141 hours of the 150. I plan on moving to Texas soon. Can I take 2 upper-level accounting courses at another college in Texas, without getting my masters degree? Are there any other options maybe I have not considered? I plan on moving to the Dallas, TX area soon. Can anyone recommend a school in the Dallas area that could offer the additional 6 upper-level hours in the Dallas area?
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
