Hi all! I’ve got a question about CPA license reciprocity.
I am a licensed CPA in Virginia, and up until now Virginia was my primary state of work. However, I recently began a new corporate accounting position, where I divide my time between DC and Maryland. I know there is some sort of reciprocity between Virginia and those two jurisdictions, but I haven’t been able to find anything as to whether I need to file any paperwork or anything before I can use my CPA title. As of right now, I have elected not to have my CPA title listed on my business cards or e-mail signature. Do any of you know what the specific rules are?
