Ok fellow Ninjas, I have a question for you. If someone told you that they had taken the CPA exam and passed all four parts, but decided not to go forward and get their actual certificate/license because they didn’t want to bother with having to deal with the annual CPE requirements, what would you think? When I asked why they didn’t consider this before taking the exam, the answer was that it was more about “having fun studying with my study group.”

    Truth or BS???

the reason why people are side eyeing isn't learning for sake of learning but if you didn't get licensed and won't use it, why bring it up? It doesn't make sense, you obviously bring it up to benefit you in one way or another. If i'm applying for a job at i don't know, food restuarant as a head chef. Lets say i hold a culinary degree, accounting degree, etc and lots of accolades for cooking. I'm not gonna make a huge spill about anything that's unrelated to being a chef, i'm not gonna mention the CPA exam that i took, when i didn't even get licensed, so its irrelevant. That's like telling someone you went to a 4 year college left and never applied for your degree. You're not gonna list, and you're not gonna talk about it because it's more of a deterrent. So yu need to look at the person's ulterior motive for bringing it up, especially if no need for it like he says

Totally fucking bs. MAYBE if he wanted a challenge and gets his kicks that way. But even then he chose a douche way to get his.
