Hi There :

I am looking for guidance for my educational qualifications from India and UK to qualify for CPA – US exams.

My qualifications are :

1) B.Com – Mumbai University, India

2) Chartered Accountant, India (ICAI)

3) Cost Accountant, India (ICWAI)

4) Management Accountant, UK (CIMA)

Please advise, how do i go about getting this evaluated and for which state do i need to apply to. I am a resident of MD, USA.

Hello Ram,

You will have to get your degrees evaluated through a CBA approved foreign academic credentials evaluation service, list can be found on CBA website. They directly send the evaluation to CBA board. Process is pretty simple and can be done online. You just have to fill out an application. I got my degrees evaluated from ACEI who were very professional and evaluate your degrees with in couple of weeks. Best of luck!
