Hi All,
This will be my first time renewing my CPA license in 2021. I want to make sure I don’t make any mistakes in the CPE’s. Does anyone recommend a NASBA-approved CPE site that offers all the courses necessary to complete the CPE’s? The Illinois CPE requirements are 120 hours. I’m a bit confused in how I submit proof that I completed my CPE’s to the state board. Do I choose an approved CPE course provider and complete my courses through it? Would the CPE provider send me proof of completion credit?
Do I need to submit anything to the IL board? If I complete the required 120 hours through a site, how do I notify the IL board? Part of the 120 hour requirement mentions that 60 hours can be “non-verifiable”. Does that mean that I can study published material and they don’t require me submitting proof? I’m worried that my license will lapse if I miss a key step.
Thanks in Advance.
