    Hey,

I cleared my exam as per the June 9th score release through Alaska Board but I still have not got my congratulatory letter. Can I apply for my license? Is it absolutely necessary for me to receive the letter before I apply for my license?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Different states have different requirements. Call Alaska's state board and ask them directly (I'm guessing it will be an international call for you).

With that said since you passed all 4 exams in May, I'm sure you're able to complete the licensing process. Go to their website and look at the requirements and start working on the paperwork. If you run into issues just call the board and ask them directly.

Send in your application. The only issue is that if you have yet to receive your congrats letter and live in a NASBA state, that means that NASBA has yet to communicate your scores to your state board. Which means that your application will be pending with the state board until they have your scores from NASBA.

I received my congratulatory letter after I received my license. Alaska is a NASBA state, which means they get your scores before they are released… so they have your scores. You can also call them.
