Client died

    I have one private client. I help him assemble records through the year for a rental business and his itemized deductions. He has a real accountant who does the taxes, I just get his client organizer in shape. He died last week. We were not quite done with all the 2017 entries. I expect the daughters will ask for help finishing this. It will be a challenge to find all the records, as this was the not-uncommon disorganized filing system. Do any of you have any experience or advice about proceeding? Thank you.
