So, apparantly, the CPA exam is over going a major overhaul! They opened up public comment today. This (https://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/nextexam/DownloadableDocuments/MaintainingtheRelevanceoftheUniformCPAExaminationFINAL.pdf) is the link to the PDF for the open comment information.
And this (https://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/nextexam/Pages/next-cpa-exam.aspx) has a nice little infographic about the timeline.
The PDF was super interesting, and I agreed with most of their “findings” in Section 4, in my experience. I could see the exam getting, while not necessarily easier, definitely more relevant if they figure out how to test some of those softer skills listed in that section. Anyone else have any thoughts after reading the bulletin?
