    This might be a long shot, but is there anyone on here that has their CFE credential? If so, please let me know what materials you used to study with and how much time is needed to study.

    Thanks!

    I do. Purchased the material directly from ACFE (this was about 8 years ago) and if I remember correctly, it took me about three months or so to study. I didn't have a husband and kids so studying was a breeze and I was in no rush.

    I haven't been able to gain the experience i need for the exam in over 2 years; however, taking/passing the exam was the easy part. The test was take home and pretty straightforward. A few tricky questions, but many were right off the study guide almost verbatim. On the CPA, you can't pass by memorizing answers on the study guide, but on the CFE, you probably can. I think the test package includes 3 tries as well.

    The test is very easy. If your a student, you should absolutely buy the student package. You gain membership, the study package, and the test for $300. Pretty much the only reason I did it at the time, it was too good a deal to pass up.

    Only unfortunate thing is that I have to pay a small fee every few years to keep the application open, since I haven't actually gained the needed experience; it's pretty cheap though.

    B=84 This exam was such a b**** that I thought I failed-don't know how these things work
    A=76 Slacker I am, I'll happily take it
    R=81 I LOVE taxes
    F=80 I don't wanna get banned for an expletive I'm thinking with "yea" proceeding it
