Whenever I’m studying, which has been for two years now, I am constantly hungry and even hangry! I gained about 6 pounds over the two years, almost lost it all when I thought I was done in August, and now am back to being hungry again while studying. Anyone else like this?

Same here and I have put on 20-30 lbs, so consider yourself fortunate!! Eating is one of the only things that relieves stress for me from these exams.

    Goodluck.

I don't buy junk or else if it's in the house it will get eaten. I'm forced to eat the semi-healthy food I buy like turkey jerky, non fat yogurt, 60 calorie chocolate pops, almond butter sandwich, turkey sandwich, obscene amounts of eggs and fruit, etc. At the end of the day extra calories end up as fat. When is this going to be over. Not to mention I've gotten three gray hairs since starting this process.

I had the same issue during my journey. However, I eventually stopped snacking as often and thay sort of helped.

If it makes you feel any better, 6 pounds in two years is not a lot assumming you sit all day as I used to.
A coworker of mine has been studying for about three months and hasn't even taken his first exam and the guy has put over 20 lbs, according to him. I actually believe him because his weight gain is very noticeable.

I gained about 5-7 lbs over my 7 months of studying, but been running like 4 days a week to lose it all! So I'm considering it lucky. I hate snacks with a burning passion, however…..cookies and brownies…omg the best way to treat myself after a 4 hour study sesh. Muahah

You all are cracking me up, much needed. To me six pounds is a big deal, I'm vain I guess. I do workout everyday and try to eat healthy but even the healthy snacking is excessive. Usually I'm not a snacker either, to maintain weight, but while studying I can't help myself. Helps with the depression of 3 73's :/

I put on about 20 but I've been here before. It will be easy to lose when I'm ready to get fit again. I love the gym and staying in shape so I know my body pretty well. It's mainly from the drinks I get from Starbucks where I've had some great study sessions, so unfortunately I will be giving that up once I'm finally done. I can't even imagine what else I'm going to do with myself once I have another 5+ hours a day free to do anything besides study!

Lol. Yea, pretty sure I put on 6 pounds in a week or so while studying REG last quarter! Not good, but I'm just trying to get trough this and pass my last exam.

I drank enough caffeine to fill an Olympic Swimming pool. Does that count?

Cookies, snickers, Reese's fast breaks, coffee, diet coke, and chips will make u put in 20 lbs in no time. Super disappointed in myself, but I remind myself this is only temporary until I pass all 4. I'm knocking on the door with REG to go!!

6 pounds is nothing. I have put on 10 in about 18 months. It does not really matter what you eat as long as you exercise.

    Yes, yes, and yes…..

I tell myself it's because my brain is working so hard (it's the largest muscle right?)

Right now it's Ben and Jerry's for me… I'm enjoying the limited fall flavors of Pumpkin Cheesecake and Peanut Butter World….

@benj2017 that's what I tell myself too. Fighting the urge to eat something right now. I think I will lose.
